Our Annual Meeting was held in April with the election of officers and business of the Association. At the meeting there was a vote by attending homeowners on funds to be disbursed for the repaving of the entrance driveway, lighting, and curbing. The amount of $50,000 was approved. However, although we had a quorum and a unanimous vote, we would like to give homeowners who were not able to attend the meeting, an opportunity to hear about the project, obtain more definitive pricing and scope of project, and vote.
The entrance project starts at the property line from the Durham Road to the beginning of the first garage on the left. Work will include: removal of all blacktop, removal of all granite curbing, resurfacing the gravel, replacing the blacktop, new granite curbing from Durham Road all the way to the first garage, the light poles that are there will remain, two new light poles will be added for better lighting, new globes for all light posts, and the possibility of a faucet at the front for watering. The anticipated costs will be approximately $50,000-$55,000. The work is anticipated sometime later this summer and it will take approximately two weeks to complete.
A meeting will be held at the pool for information and a homeowner vote.
